the location was best possible and practical - within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. the rooms were quiet, with central heating, a work desk, and a tv set, extremely comfy bed. we had a fairly nice time here and would happily return.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. Check-in was a breeze, with a staff member present and the room ready. Parking was convenient, located right across the street. The heating in the room was comfortable, and the blankets provided were just right. Additionally, the hotel's location was great, being close to both the town center and the train station.
One downside was that it wasn't obvious to find the hotel at first.

Stayed over Easter weekend. Good location near train station and the river. the room had a nice view, not too noisy. Bathroom was clean and spacious. Staff was friendly and helpful. Free parking nearby. a pleasant stay.
Limited dining options in the area. Some noise from trains and traffic.

Check-in at Hotel De La Gare was quick and easy. the room was clean and ready upon arrival. Parking was convenient as it was located just across the street.
The language barrier was a major drawback as the staff at the hotel only spoke French. Throughout the weekend, there was no receptionist available for assistance.

The rooms at Hôtel de la Gare were super comfortable! They had air conditioning, which was amazing for someone like me who gets hot easily. The bed was cozy, and the TV had lots of channels to choose from.
Personally, I'm not a fan of the toiletries they provided. But hey, that's just my taste.

My room had a jaw-dropping view of the beautiful Maas, and the railway traffic was surprisingly unobtrusive. The Milano triple room was spacious and well-equipped, perfect for our group of three plus an infant. The large bathroom with bath and shower was in great condition. The hotel staff were undetectable but the autonomous check-in process was surprisingly convenient. The free baby cot provided was a nice touch. a very satisfactory stay.

Air conditioning that keeps you cooler than a penguin on a polar expedition. The rooms are so fresh and clean, you'll feel like you're sleeping on a cloud made of freshly laundered linen. The staff are like superheroes, always ready to save the day with their super-friendly service.
Noisy neighbors.

The location was perfect, surrounded by a bunch of dope restaurants. We also checked out Terhills in Maasmechelen and it was straight-up fire! We rented an e-boat and explored the nature park, plus the view from the top of the hills was sick. And don't even get me started on the pizza at Maccione in Hasselt – straight up mouth-watering!
One thing we wished was better for party animals like us is that the hotel didn't have a bar or any kind of nightlife. It would have been lit to have a place to turn up and have some fun right at the hotel.
